Battery Pack Monitoring
Li-ion Tamer® monitoring systems are also available to monitor your systems at the pack or rack level. The monitoring system can provide audible and visual alarms along with relay contacts to initiate ventilation or fire suppression.
Battery Room Monitoring
Li-ion Tamer® also offers monitoring systems for battery rooms. Room level monitoring can provide complete awareness of your battery space through off-gas monitoring for early detection, detection of flammable gases before they reach the lower flammability level and smoke and heat detection. These systems are configurable to provide alerts, alarms, and actuation to meet the needs of your application.
Li-ion Tamer® monitors are available as OEM components which can be surface mounted directly to the printed circuit board of your BMS. The monitor will provide a signal when off-gas is detected giving you another diagnostic tool to determine the state of the battery system.
Li-ion Tamer® monitors are also available in a miniature packaging which can be installed inside modules to provide monitoring of the cells. The devices are connected via a simple wiring harness which can provide the signal to a Li-ion Tamer® controller or used as a peripheral device connected to your own controller.
