Li-ion Tamer Announces Partnership with Honeywell

Li-ion Tamer Announces Partnership with Honeywell

February 11, 2020 Posted by Steve Cummings
Li-ion Tamer Group (LTG) and Xtralis, a Honeywell company, are excited to announce the beginning of a newly formed partnership, which was executed on February 11th, 2020. The partnership combines two market leaders who are committed to providing innovative safety products, building a safety platform for all lithium-ion battery users, and enabling the growth of clean energy.
Xtralis is a leading global provider of powerful solutions for the very early and reliable detection of smoke, fire, and gas threats. Xtralis has been a pioneer in life safety for more than 30 years and is the world’s largest manufacturer of very early warning aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems, including VESDA, the world’s No. 1 ASD brand.
Li-ion Tamer Group is a newly formed and wholly owned subsidiary of Nexceris, LLC. Nexceris is an energy company that develops innovative sensor, power generation, and catalyst solutions. Founded, in 1994, Nexceris’ vision is to create a better world through energy innovations. The Li-ion Tamer products were developed under Nexceris’ supervision since 2010.
Xtralis brings a world-wide network of distribution, sales, and installation expertise to Li-ion Tamer. The partnership will facilitate growth that Nexceris cannot do alone and will contribute to Xtralis’ portfolio of early detection equipment for stationary energy storage systems.
Nexceris will still manufacture Li-ion Tamer products, but will begin to transition direct sales to our distribution partners, Tfactory (in South Korea) and Xtralis (everywhere else). Additionally, Nexceris will retain full control of the Li-ion Tamer business. Xtralis will contribute through market development, marketing, sales, distribution, and contributions to future proucts through a joint development agreement (JDA).
